COMMUNICATION AND MASS MEDIA COMPLETE		COMMUNICATIONS	A collection dedicated to communications and mass media studies, with more than 300 full-text journals and indexing and abstracts for more than 420 journals.
ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA		REFERENCE	A set of four encyclopedias. Entries include brief annotated bibliographies, further references to electronic journals, selected internet sites, a video and media collection. The Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus is also available.
JSTOR		MULTIDISCIPLINARY	Born with the aim of long-term preservation of scholarly journals, JSTOR offers entire collections of back issues of authoritative periodicals. Journal coverage begins with the first published issue and ends with a variable date, three to five years from present.
LEXIS NEXIS		NEWS, BUSINESS, LAW	A comprehensive spectrum of over 11,000 full text sources, including: national and regional newspapers, international news, U.S. Federal and state case law, codes, regulations, legal news, law reviews and international legal information. In addition, it includes business news journals, company financial information, industry and market news.
THE LITERARY ENCYCLOPEDIA	All users with a @johncabot.edu mail account can set up a personal account to access the Literary Encyclopedia from off-campus	LITERATURE	The Literary Encyclopedia provides biographical information about major literary, cultural, philosophical and historical figures; descriptive profiles of major cultural works, introductory coverage of the relevant historical contexts and guidance to valuable secondary reading.
OXFORD ART ONLINE		ARTS AND ARCHAEOLOGY	On-line encyclopedia, with full text articles covering every aspect of the visual arts from prehistory to the present day. It also contains art images and links to museums and galleries, bibliographies, and biographies.
OXFORD MUSIC ONLINE		MUSIC	A set of on-line encyclopedias, with a compendium of music scholarship articles, biographies and some sound and notated examples.
OXFORD REFERENCE ONLINE		REFERENCE	A wide spectrum of scholarly and quick reference sources, including maps, timelines and illustrations. Bilingual dictionaries are provided for French, German, Irish, Italian, Latin and Spanish languages.
REGIONAL BUSINESS NEWS		BUSINESS	A collection of 75 journals covering metropolitan and rural areas of the United States.
